I’ve used AI for a while now. And it keeps improving. Gemini still stinks for defold though, but it has helped in a pinch. Best way to get all the models is via Copilot for Github and use Defold Kit to create and test games right in VS Code.
With copilot in Github you get all the AIs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, and even GROK). When one AI can’t help me, I just use a different one. And it usually ends up working. And it’s only $10/month unlike the others.
BTW: the gemini extension in github stinks. They need to fix it before it’s even worth using.
For deep reviews though I still prefer GPT’s Codex on extreme high or Claude Opus 4.5. I often ask one to review and make recommendations. Then feed that back to the other and ask what it missed and if it agrees.
But technically you can do that all in GitHub Copilot, but it doesn’t have the latest and greatest models…it has them but not the extreme super deep thinking versions.
