Editor update does not work

So i always see the button “download update” when i press it, it shows a pop up asking if i want to download the new update but when i press it does absolutely nothing. Im planning to uninstall current defold and download the new version

Which version are you on? And what platform are you on?

im on windows 10 and the version is 2 updates old

If you haven’t already could you please start Defold from a command line and check the output? It will probably give some insights into what might be wrong. Or check the editor log: https://defold.com/manuals/editor/#editor-logs

I’ve had a similar issue. The download bar stubbornly sits at 0% but the update is actually downloading anyway. After a minute or two the “Restart to update” appears.

well its just notepad text files for different build but with the same thing over and over again
