Editor 2: Invalid Characters

Windows 7 computer using Editor 2.0.

At rare times I’ve found I can no longer type anything into the editor. It just responds with the Windows “ding”, signaling that the character pressed wasn’t accepted.

This may be a cause of alt-tabbing out of the editor, although it’s only happened a few times to me, and I alt-tab quite a bit. I tried saving to see if that would “refresh” the editor, but it did nothing. Restarting fixes the problem.

Might there be an editor update window lurking in the background stealing attention. :slight_smile:

If there was , it certainly didn’t make itself obvious. I’ll report back if I find this is the problem.

:slight_smile: I think the plan is to move the update indication so that can’t happen.
