It’s the time of the year for retrospective and reflections and we prepared one for Defold in 2025, we invite you to read the full article:
P.S. We did note some features from current 1.12.0 beta that will be released in a few days (fonts, camera), however we did not mention life cycle updates - we want to prepare the documentation first, so it will land at the beginning of the 2026 retrospective then 
And regarding what’s next - we are usually very restrained from Roadmaps, because of many reasons, but we do want to share with you at least a generic overview of our next focus and some of the stuff we plan to work on and hopefully will be delivered without any problems, so we’ll share more details soon
