It’s something we haven’t noticed yet, no.
I’ll defer to @britzl who has worked on threading the builder tasks in this release.
Found it - if there is a subdirectory in the path in --settings, the build crashes with the error above. If the file is in the root, everything works as before.
I will write an issue now.

extension-gpgs seems not be compatible with this beta. I just get a build error.
It builds fine on our servers.
Perhaps you could give us the the build error, so that we could help track it down?
Sorry. misleading error log. The problem is the default dmengine.pro. Without it builds for Android, with proguard I get a build error
