Defold 1.2.176

This release is an interim release, addressing some recent stability issues for Android.
If you’re releasing for Android, we recommend you upgrade from 1.2.175 to this version.

Engine

  • Issue-5337 - Fixed: Android: Crash: Moved focus lost/gained callbacks to Lua main thread
  • Issue-5350 - Fixed: Android: Crash: sys.reboot() fix
  • Issue-5334 - Fixed: NE: Added file and line number to DM_LUA_STACKCHECK errors

Does this release include a fix for the Android sound crash bug?

No. The sound crash is not fixed yet. 1.2.176 was an extra release to solve a few other issues. The next scheduled standard release is 1.2.177 which came out as beta today. We will try to squeeze this sound fix into the beta as well.
