As all of you know, Defold is completely free for anyone to use. You can use Defold to build and release games for any platform, even consoles, without paying anything. It will always remain this way since the Defold Foundation objectives clearly state that Defold has to be provided for free. We like this and we hope you do too!
But this doesn’t mean that developing the Defold game engine and hosting the build servers cost nothing. It is in fact quite expensive!
