As I need to access the camera roll for personal needs, I’ve started to create a native extension. It was finally too complex for me so I changed my approach and I used instead a local html page with an input file button (okay, it’s a bit daring 
)…
Here my result:
It works pretty well on my iOS device. In principle, this should also work on Android devices subject to permissions granted in the manifest file…
