I am a machine designer, 56 years old, 24 years designing hydraulic turbines, passionate by 3D and trying to start in this “indiedev” world.
I’ve chosen defold because it is free and not heavy as the others game engines, I also like Lua, because it reminds me auto-lisp, that I have used many years ago.
My biggest difficulty for the moment is to implement shaders above all the other challenges involved in making a video game, alone and from scratch.
