The Defold Dashboard was created as a simple alternative for small teams to quickly get up and running with project hosting and analytics. For most use cases it works well enough and for a time it was the only choice when getting started with Defold. The editor will be updated to remove any remaining integrations with the dashboard later today or tomorrow. The Git integration we have in the editor will at the same time start working for any Git repository.
