# When compiling a game on android, an error pops up

Hello, when compiling a game for android, an error related to java pops up, I have already deleted it and installed a new java and nothing, help me what to do?

You do not need to install Java yourself. Defold comes with a packaged Java for internal use.

Does your project have any dependencies? And what have you set as build server in Preferences?

I didn’t install anything, made an empty project, started making a game according to the lesson, after which I added the game logo in the project settings and started compiling it for android, and those errors got out, asked a friend, he said that there were some errors with a link.

Double check your dependencies list in the `game.project` settings. I’m sure that you left there the `url.to` placeholder.
