Unable to stream the game to my android device

Hey Guys,

Just joined the defold community today. The game engine seems to be very slick and light weight which is super awesome. What i wanted to know was how to get the game to stream on my android phone. I have Defold 1.2.74 and have installed dmengine.apk on my OnePlusTwo. I am working on a Macbook Pro 2013 and connected to an office network.

Could someone please help me with this?

I have tried searching the forums and google for some instructions, but could not find any.

Is your phone connected to the same network as your laptop? Could it be that your office network is blocking the SSDP service that is used to scan for devices?

Hey britzl thanks for the reply, I got it working in my home network. I think as you said ssdp is blocked in the office network. Is there no other way to connect to the phone, like by entering IP address directly somewhere?

No, I’m afraid not. We have been talking about streaming via USB, but there are no concrete plans to do this yet.
