The Editor non support Proxy (DEF-1551)

Beacuse China Blocks some site like google,facebook,etc.So I have to accecc these site by proxy server.
But the Editor can NOT setup the Netword Connections,and can’t open project.

@sicher is investigating this and will get back to you once he has some more information.

If you pass the argument “-dev” to the editor (in os x you can start with “open -a Defold --args -dev” from command line) you will get a “Debug” pane in the preferences where you can do some settings. I haven’t tried if it works via proxy but you are most welcome to try. Let us know if you run into problems.

It didnt work for me. In my case im in a enterprise network and i must use the proxy for access internet.

@LiYang: please confirm if @sicher’s solution doesn’t work for you either.

Feature doesn’t work.

I’ve started editor with -dev argument and set my proxy settings (SOCKS5)
But project data are not downloaded :sob:

p.s.: windows 7

I also tried to overpass the problem with the proxy, thought of changing the configuration preference for eclipse but didn’t work because defold rechange them automatically on start. Have somene found a work around?
