This image is 200x100 cropped to edge so why is it in the editor such that my slice 9 numbers are not equal on opposite sides? I can get it to work, just trying to understand the behavior of the editor more precisely or figure out what I did wrong when importing it.

You seem to have more white to the right than to the left in the image you’re using?

Yep - it was weird. I was using Omnigraffle to export and it was adding whitespace where it shouldn’t. I upgraded to version 7 just now and the export functionality is totally revamped and solving the issue. #pipelines… ugh.
