With the Platformer Creation Kit when you copy the contents of the zip file to the project folder, are you supposed to have two game.project files now? In other words, do I copy the contents of the PCK_1.0 folder or the base folder inside it?
No, there is no reason to have more than one game.project file. According to their “How to use it”, it says:
Drag the contents of the archive to the location of the new project in the Finder/Explorer and replace the files in the project.
So I would guess that you should replace all the files in the project with the files from the zip.
