Moving viewport in Editor

I’ve looked through the documentation, I’ve tried every button I could think of (LMB and drag, RMB and drag, MMB and drag, Arrow-keys, WASD)
Nothing seems to be able to move me around the Tilemap field.
I can zoom in and out all I want but the center is always on 0…

Apparently it’s ALT-Middle Mouse button… that was obvious…

thank! wow i thought my editor is not working due to window 8.1… apparently i need to press alt to move the tilemap… my suggestion: can you put some tips on it later on?

It’s mentioned in the manual: Editor overview

But perhaps it is hard to find this kind of information. Maybe some kind of tooltip or info box within the editor that the user can dismiss?

i shall tell you. last night i follow the snake tutorial. the tutorial show the image which already being move while my current editor is at " + " @ middle axis…

so i try click to try drag the editor but it doesn’t move… its hard for me paint the editor with that snake’s green/white tiles.

at that time i though maybe i can figure out how to move it at work. so i google and found this old topic

in conclusion… beginner like me don’t event know that i need to click Alt to move the editor. maybe there’s some little tips can be done. now enjoying the editor, continue the snake game tutorial

i know this is silly small problem.
