Live update creates file it can't use (DEF-3027) (SOLVED)


I’m trying to use liveupdate in html5 game to make initial loading time fast, but one of 90 files just doesn’t work. In windows bundle resource.store_resource function prints “ERROR:GAMESYS: The liveupdate resource could not be verified, header information is missing for resource: da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd80709” (230 Bytes)

Looks like a bug when trying to store really small resources. Added issue DEF-3027 for this.

A fix will hopefully be in one of the coming releases.


Lol, kinda surprising! When you see bug reports in general regarding the size of assets it is typically that they are too big. Nice to see the opposite for a change :slight_smile:
