Inverted Accelerator

Hey Folks…

It appears that the accelerator values are inverted on some phones.

So far my strategy has been to use the sys.get_sys_info to see if the phone model is in a list of known phones to have this functionality.

This works fine, but I know this isn’t a good long term strategy.

My question is, what’s the right way?

I believe this kind of thing would fix it under the hood

That sounds like an engine update. After reading that, it seems to be something that is going to be a common problem.

For now, as a temporary solution, i’m thinking about having the users go through a calibration.
