How Do you Create Artworks required for your game?

What software do you use?

What other tools do you use?

Do you buy them or find on the internet instead?

My current art-stack is: Photoshop (base Adobe CC subscription) + Spine (bought once, using on PC and Mac both)

I’m personally prefer pixel art for my games.
https://www.piskelapp.com/ is good enough, and not only for beginners. But I’m using Aseprite (bought) and Pyxel Edit (want to buy).

I’m using piskelapp too  I find it very useful and user friendly. There are many online tools that are easy to use, in a moment. Like, when I want to create a transparent background I usually use online background burners online. Besides, Gimp is irreplaceable and used in any special task

Yeah! Gimp is a nice one. But most of my graphic demands are quenched by sites featuring premade art, like OpenGameArt, Itch.io, Unity Assetstore and GraphicRiver

I would say Piskel for it’s immediate animation workflow. GIMP ? too complicated for me…
