Fails to boot on Manjaro

Hi, this is my first time posting so I hope I haven’t messed anything up.
I run Manjaro on a 64Bit Laptop and have tried to install Defold
I followed all of the instructions for installation on Linux devices and booted it using ./Defold
The splash screen then boots and terminal starts outputting what I think is the normal boot text.
Then, the terminal gets stuck on :
2019-06-09 14:20:32.788 INFO default editor.updater - {:line 283, :message "Checking for updates", :url "https://d.defold.com/editor2/channels/editor-alpha/update-v3.json"} 2019-06-09 14:20:33.024 INFO default editor.updater - {:line 290, :message "No update found"}

I’ve done some digging around the forums and as far as I know, this is normal
My only problem is that the editor does not appear and no logs are created, therefore leaving me in a loop where it checks for new updates every two minutes.
Would anyone know what exactly I’m missing?
Thanks!

What about the logs? They should be in ~/.Defold

Another recent Linux issue was that the editor window opened but it was very very small. Do you have a tiny editor window or nothing at all?

Thanks!
Ah yes, I have noticed that there is a very small window that appears.
Is there a fix for this?

Please add your voice to this forum thread since you seem to be affected by the same problem: Linux v 1.2.149 gives small window

Okay, thanks :slight_smile:
