hello friends I have downloaded the editor and unzipped too.
but its not allowing me to open the editor file.
As its giving me the “java returned error”, error page.
what to do now?

I just clocked on the Download editor
Selected windows.
then after it is downloaded, unzipped it, by using extract to Defold.Win32.win32.X86/ option.
and when i click on the Defold editor file to pen it it gives me the error. that i am uploading.
Move Defold to a path that doesn’t contain an exclamation point. I just tested this and got the same error as you.
Looks like a Java bug.
