The editor hangs intermittently when opening script files from the project explorer. Perhaps 1 time in 3. Interestingly some parts of the editor continue to work (such as the file/edit/search/etc menu bar). No error appears in terminal or in editor’s error log window. This is the linux 64 editor. Here is a screen shot of what it looks like when it happens:

Are you running the editor via the .sh file? What version of Linux are you using? @jakob.pogulis, any ideas?
Yes I’m running the Defold-linux.sh file. Ubuntu 16.04.
As a work around I’ve been using the editor option to open them with the system editor (gedit for me), and that seems to prevent the hanging/crash. Hope that is useful information.
Apparently it is “hanging” on other files as well, but not near as often as it “hangs” on script files.
well i’m still experiencing is “hanging” behavior; I’m excited for 2.0
