# Discard changes to an unsaved file

Hi,  
I opened a file in defold and made some changes and didn’t save it (It’s still open).  
Now I want to discard all the changes I have made and go back to my last saved file.  
when I close the file within defold and reopen it again from defold file manager, it shows the edited and unsaved version of the file (although there is a star in the file name which tells that I haven’t saved the file yet), but I want to open my prechange version of my file without closing and reopening the whole defold program.

for example this the input\_binding file that I haven’t saved yet.  
I know that if I close defold without saving and open my project again it will open the last saved version, but i don’t want to close the whole program and I only want to reverse my changes in this specific file. And I don’t want to ctrl+Z all the way back.  
Any suggestions?
