I would like an option in the editor to build and deploy to a USB connected phone. I know about the Target option, but I have major problems with it when I try it on anything but small projects (losing connection, need to restart if the screen goes black, etc)

That would be a terrific option, especially when you develop with native extensions or native extensions themselves.

For Androids it’s quite easy to add support to the Editor with adb tool, for iOS there are few options to choose from, I would recommend [http://www.libimobiledevice.org/](http://www.libimobiledevice.org/)

Alternate version of this would be editor plugins/extensions so that we can write our own deploy tools!
