I work with the Defold engine already for a few weeks now. Everything worked perfectly. When I tried to Build and Launch my game today it suddenly didn’t run anymore. I could see the percentage in the left bottom corner for building my game, but when it was ready, the game didn’t launch. I tried then to build and launch the side scroller tutorial, but the same happened there as well.
If I build it for html5 everything works fine.
I’m on Windows 10 if that helps
Thanks a lot for taking your time and helping me

since an error shows up when I tried to edit my original post, I gonna add this here as comment.
There aren’t any errors shown in the Defold console or error log, when I try to build and launch the game.

Have you tried a full rebuild (Project > Rebuild and Launch)?
Yes I did. Sadly it doesn’t help.

And I suppose you have tried restarting the editor too?
Yes, restarting my computer as well.

Did you by any chance get an automatic update of Defold and things stopped working after that?
My Defold does update itself automatically, so it could be through an update, but it could be also something else. I have honestly no clue.
My current Defold version is: Version 1.2.69
Java 1.8.0_05

Ok, yeah, I’m thinking that it might have to do with the new 1.2.69 version that came out six days ago. Or has it worked since you got 1.2.69?
I don’t think so. I did some art/animation stuff but didn’t run the engine last week till Friday or Saturday. So it must be since the update.
Defold updated now to 1.2.70 but sadly it’s still not working. So I tried to redownload the whole editor, but that didn’t help as well.
I don’t know what I did, but today it suddenly worked again. I can use again the Build and Launch option and it works perfectly!
I would love to be able to tell you what the problem was and what helped, but I hove honestly no clue.
