I’m aware a user would use Alt + Middle Mouse Button to pan the view in Defold, and Alt + Right Mouse Button to track it.
Is there any way to change these viewport controls to something else?
No sorry, and the current configuration is certainly bothering a lot of people. It would be really interesting to know what everyone prefer so we can look at adding them to user prefs in editor2.

Maybe Defold 2 should allow people to fully pick whatever viewport controls they want, since some people are used to the viewport controls of other software, such as Blender or Photoshop, and all of those pieces of software differ in how you manipulate the view.
As for my own opinion on controls, I prefer any control that doesnt require pressing the middle mouse button.
Absolutely! I meant it would be nice to see the scope of different requirements to know how the customisation should be designed. Mouse-button + modifiers seems given but there might be some settings I’m not aware of.
