The yellow and blue shapes here show the outlines of some text which has had its color.w set to 0. Is there any way to make these outlines disappear completely?

I believe this is a bug in the backlog somewhere. The best workaround is to set the outline to the same color as the face color. Or create a copy of the font shader and ditch the outline altogether.
