Can we get update for spine 4.3 on defold

Spine just released the stable version of their 4.3, can we use the 4.3 runtime on defold.

Yes, at some point for sure. BUT Esoteric have changed the spine-c API completely so there’s definitely a bunch of work to be done…

I understand that updating runtimes takes time and testing, but it would be nice to hear whether Spine 4.3 support is planned or already being evaluated.

It is not planned yet. I’m sure it will happen eventually though.

We do our best, but we also rely on community contributions. That’s why all integrations are open source and MIT licensed. Anyone with a little bit of C/C++ knowledge can pitch in and help keep things updated.
