Well, i’m a big fan of survival games. And i love 2d design. I have some projects in Gamemaker and Defold but i don’t know the real capabilities of it. Well, me and 5 friends want to make a survival game in Defold. Basically, it’s a big/large project. Large and openworld map, buildings, thirst, hunger, health, creatures, tons of sprites. The million dollar question is… Is it possible in Defold? I’m asking it because the main focus of Defold is performance and scalability Before dig deeper and study this tool, i need your help. definitely could, but a lot of the shader stuff the programmers may need to figure that out for themselves. Research into things that can save space such as bundle resources and live update content if you think your game may need it. ---

I think it is possible to make that kind of game in Defold. I am not sure it is practicable for any six people to make that kind of game in any thing, at least not in a reasonable time frame, this is just a guess, it would be excellent if you could. ---
