15-30 minutes in to using the Editor 2.0 some days, I receive a message saying there is a new installed update. Whenever I hit “Restart and Update” nothing happens. I don’t know if it installs anonymously, but it seems the editor does nothing, and it especially doesn’t restart.
Delete and download clean version?
Sorry about that! It would be great if you could report this issue on github, use Help > Report Issue from within the app. The program is supposed to restart immediately, which would reopen the window.

I had this problem too. Actually, my first installation was on d:, as well as my shortcut pointing to d:\ But Defold would install itself to c:\
so I let it do that, and pointed my shortcuts to c:
Now, it updated, and restart, and also, firewall asks me to allow connection, so now, I’m sure it is really updating.

@elitim I only have a C:\ drive. On buying a smaller case for my computer about 4 months ago I tried to reinstall my CD drive, but it wouldn’t fit because of the USB 3.0 positions and the cord got in the way :).
