Beginner Questions: Release / Compile / Build / Publish a project (SOLVED)

Hey there.

I am new to defold. I am working with editor 2 and do some tryouts with the engine etc.
I’ve read tons of manuals and features around defold. Looks good so far. One thing I did not find:
How to make a os-specific package? At the editor I can build and test, I can also export to HTML5.
But how to “compile” “package” (or call it whatever you like to) a finished project to anything, for example Window or linux? No .exe file or anything. What to do? Didnt find any manual. Does the target-system needs defold has to be installed? What of my project-folder is needed? How to run a project on another computer without having the editor?

Is there a manual or thread? Didnt find something about that topic (or maybe I am simply blind or stupid o.O )

Download a copy of Editor 1 and you can make the release bundles with it for now.

Oh. really?
I am on editor 2. so these feature(s) are not yet implemented in version 2 I quess… :frowning:
The new versino of the editor is much nicer and works fine. I may read the issues on editor 2, hm?

I guess they need to make the editor 2 info page required reading before you download, instead of a polite suggestion . . .

Sorry about that, the bundle-feature was implemented for editor2 yesterday and will probably arrive early next week after testing and reviews etc.
