I’m making progress on an online multiplayer game prototype but I was wondering if anyone could share some basic constructs or a starting point of which I can progress from?

Online real time multiplayer is probably the most complex type of game you can make. What kind of real time game are you making? Do you already have a back-end? I assume you need server side validation?
GameSparks has a Real-time solution and a Defold extension. Maybe you can use that as a base?

Yea I have nothing set in place at the moment but il have a look at gamesparks
