Assets?

Why is the project tree in the left-hand pane entitled ‘Assets’? Surely ‘Project’ or ‘Application’ would be a better title. It’s a bit confusing (to me at least!) as when using the desktop template there’s also a folder named ‘assets’. As far as I can see, the manual doesn’t make it clear whether images etc should be put in this folder, the main (or some other) collection folder or the root folder. I’m guessing project wide assets, perhaps a logo for example, should go in /assets rather than a collection?

The directory structure that you see in the Assets view is completely arbitrary. Put stuff where it makes sense for your workflow. The final application that you build from all (or some) the assets that are in your project is based on what is part of the static tree starting at your main collection (which is just a file among your assets that reference other assets).
