GD script is very specific. I recently tried Godot and I was only bothered by the absence of Lua language and great clutter. On the other hand, unlike Defold, it has a more sophisticated and less complex scripting system for working with rotation, lights or setting collision objects. Specifically, I easily programmed the simplified rotation system in Defold myself ([Simple rotation and facing](https://forum.defold.com/t/simple-rotation-and-facing/65681)), but I firmly hope that working with lights and collision objects in Defold became simplifies.
