Would be nice if there was a Slack channel for defold to enable faster communication, help foster a more tight community and get new adopters off the ground faster.

I joined, but if you turn on desktop notifications for this forum it’s probably just as fast to communicate. Also, it’s good to have technical questions posted here so that they are more easily publicly searchable.
I agree. The forum is definitely the best way to capture and discuss technical questions. I believe the slack channel serves a different purpose. It allows developers to meet in a different way and exchange information that may not necessarily need to be documented in through a topic question.
I agree. I think it’s beneficial for everyone if the technical questions remain on the forum for everyone to see. Also, it’s easier to search and categorise in a forum compared to a chat. But chat serves it’s purpose as a social tool and shouldn’t be disregarded!
