# A place in the forums to post code snippets / libraries to share

This is a feature request for the forum. Can you create a forum area where folks who write handy, reusable Lua scripts, or even sample projects can post about them? This way if someone creates a great script for say inventory handling, they can post a persistent topic that can be updated, and other’s can benefit from them. Similar to the way you have developer diaries for games, we could have developer ‘diaries’ for library scripts, or sample projects.

Couldn’t the [Showcase section](https://forum.defold.com/c/Show-your-Defold-work) of the forum be used for this purpose? [The description of that section](https://forum.defold.com/t/about-the-showcase-category/452) doesn’t explicitly say that it has to be games. @sicher, what’s your thought?

I think “Showcase” should be for completed projects. A “Snippets” tag may be more appropriate for code examples.
