How to load specific resources in HTML (DEF-2092)

Good day!
Is there an opportunity in the html version not to load all resources at once, but to load them only when ther’re needed? For example, if a game weights 120 Mb, but the main menu only 10 Mb - I need to load only resources required to show that main menu window. Then the game launches (loaded main menu), and the rest of the resources are loading in the background or when starting the game stage - only the resources required for that stage are loaded. - How can I do that?

This is in our backlog (DEF-1771) and will most likely be actively worked on during Q3.

It is blocker for our team to start using defold for future projects

request this feature too. really need for mobile projects to be kept in limit of 100mb.

This feature also been requested internally, and we’re doing the design of this feature right now. Note that it has also been renamed to DEF-2092.
